Chapter Six

Since Debbie his wife and Tom his father-in-law were off playing golf Carl decide to take Josephine his mother-in-law go to beach. Even in the early stages when they all were planning this trip she had said going to the beach was high on her list of things she wanted to do. Doing something she wanted to do was okay but what he had in mind was going to test the limits of the hold he had on her.

Josephine was excited about going to the beach, she had been looking forward to it all week. Being unfamiliar with the area she did not realize that Carl was taking her to a clothing optional beach and had she known that was their destination she would have refused to go. Carl however had kept her distracted and she hadn’t noticed until they topped the sand dune leading down to the beach.

At first what she was seeing didn’t register but when it did she stopped dead in her tracks and asked. "Did you know this was a nude beach?"

"Yes." Carl answered truthfully. Loaded down like a beast of burden with his backpack a small cooler a beach umbrella and their towels he would have had a hard time stopping her if she decided to turn around and leave.

She looked at him like he had betrayed her. "I’m not going down there."

"Why?" Carl asked unable to physically stop her since both of his hands were full.

"Why?" She looked at him like he was crazy. "I can’t take my clothes off in front of a bunch of people. Look at me." She glared at him. "I’d be embarrassed out of my mind with everyone looking at me."

Carl shook his head. "You don’t have to take your clothes off but if you don’t then you will have everyone looking at you."

"They’d look more if I did take my clothes off." She stated what she thought should have been obvious to him.

"Just the opposite." He said with a shake of his head.

With a petulant look she said sadly. "I don’t have the body for it."

He cocked his head in the direction of the beach. "Look down there. You look great compared to most of them. Of course maybe they would look because you have a beautiful body."

She looked at all of the nude people who seemed oblivious to her. "I don't know."

"Just lay on your stomach." Carl said trying to take her mind off having people around seeing her nude. "Try it if it’s too much we’ll leave." He gave her a big smile. "Come on you know deep down inside you want to"

She looked at him with a stubborn expression. "What if I get a sunburn? How would I explain having a sunburn where I shouldn’t have a sunburn?"

"That’s why I have this." Carl answered showing her a tube of sunblock that he managed to pull out of the pocket of his swim trunks.
